In this full-time clinical management role based in Colchester, UK, you will oversee operational management within the radiology unit with a focus on MRI, supporting the Radiology Manager. You will deliver high-quality imaging, conduct quality assurance and audits, manage clinical policies, and mentor junior radiographers and students to maintain exemplary patient care in Colchester, UK.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical leadership and operational oversight within the MRI and diagnostic imaging department in Colchester, UK.
Conduct clinical audits, ensure compliance with IRMER/IRR regulations, and support policy development in Colchester, UK.
Deputize for the Radiology Manager, supporting, mentoring, and supervising junior radiographers and students in Colchester, UK.
Requirements
BSc degree in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent) with active Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration in Colchester, UK.
Significant post-qualification experience in MRI, including advanced techniques, and proven team management experience in Colchester, UK.
Deep knowledge of Clinical Governance, IRMER/IRR guidelines, with Radiation Protection Supervisor or MRI Safety qualifications preferred in Colchester, UK.
