Cyber Security Analyst

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is delighted to partner with Nuffield Health to recruit a proactive Cyber Security Analyst to join their Cyber Security Operations team supporting systems in Colchester, UK. In this full-time 6-month fixed-term role based on a hybrid arrangement in Colchester, UK (with 1 day per week onsite), you will work 37.5 hours per week handling incident response, threat hunting, and security monitoring. You will lead security investigations, write SIEM queries, perform vulnerability management, and enhance cyber detection capabilities across clinical and non-clinical applications in Colchester, UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead incident response, threat triage, containment, root cause analysis, and post-incident recovery across cloud, network, and endpoint environments in Colchester, UK.

• Monitor, tune, and optimize SIEM/XDR platforms (such as Microsoft Sentinel) while conducting threat hunting and cross-referencing against the MITRE ATT&CK framework in Colchester, UK.

• Perform vulnerability scanning and risk assessments, author security documentation/policies, and foster security awareness across technology teams in Colchester, UK.

Requirements

• Significant experience in a Cyber Security Operations Center (SOC) or in-house security operations role driving incident response and investigations in Colchester, UK.

• Strong technical proficiency with SIEM tools (Microsoft Sentinel), endpoint XDR, query authoring, and threat hunting techniques in Colchester, UK.

• Solid knowledge of cyber security frameworks (ISO 27001, CAF, MITRE ATT&CK) alongside strong risk assessment and policy writing skills in Colchester, UK.
