As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are proud to partner with Tesco to help candidates connect with fantastic retail careers. Tesco is currently seeking a dependable and customer-focused Tesco Colleague to join the permanent team at their Maidstone Grove Green Superstore.

This is a dynamic, people-oriented role offering great variety and everyday challenges. Working across service, picking, and replenishment areas, you will help shoppers experience a fantastic trip every single day.

Availability & Working Hours

• Contracted Hours: 16 hours per week (guaranteed minimum hours policy applies, with options to discuss flexibility down to 12 hours if preferred).

• Required Availability Window:

  • Sunday: 10:00 – 16:00

  • Monday: 15:15 – 22:00

  • Wednesday: 17:00 – 22:00

  • Saturday: 13:45 – 20:00

• Note: You will receive 3 weeks' notice of your exact shift schedules. Applicants must be over 18 years of age if scheduled past 9:45 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Put customers first, greeting shoppers with a smile and serving with passion, pride, and natural warmth.

• Store Operations: Work flexibly across store service, picking, and replenishment areas, and occasionally help accept store deliveries.

• Product Care & Standards: Handle products carefully to maintain high quality, reduce waste, and keep shelves well-stocked and tidy.

• Team & Community Spirit: Take part in seasonal and community activities, building strong team morale and following all safety policies.

What You Will Need

• A genuine passion for delivering great service and building rapport with customers.

• The ability to take the initiative, make right-for-customer decisions, and work collaboratively within a team.

• Reliability, punctuality, and pride in being a positive brand ambassador.

• Must have passed the school leaver's age (with age 18+ required for shifts ending after 9:45 PM).
