As the face of the fresh bakery counter, you'll combine traditional craftsmanship with stellar customer service to create memorable moments for shoppers.
Key Responsibilities:
Baking & Preparation: Mix and mould dough to prepare a variety of fresh breads, rolls, doughnuts, and fruited products using specialist equipment (prover, oven, mixer) to company specifications.
Display & Merchandising: Maintain high-quality, fresh, and visually appealing food displays throughout the trading day to drive sales and ensure product availability.
Customer Service: Provide an outstanding, friendly, and helpful service, actively engaging with customers and showcasing Morrisons' traditional skills and fresh offerings.
Counter Flexibility: Work flexibly across other fresh counters on Market Street, using your initiative and adhering strictly to Health & Safety standards.
What We Need From You
Baking Experience: Competent baking skills with hands-on experience as a trained baker, or working within a bakery or professional kitchen environment.
Customer-Centric Style: A naturally helpful, friendly, and supportive attitude with a passion for going above and beyond for customers.
Active & Adaptable: Enjoy working in a fast-paced, varied, and active environment.
Eligibility: Must be over the school leaver's age.
