We are currently partnering with Bath Clinic—part of the prestigious Circle Health Group, Britain’s leading provider of independent healthcare—to find a skilled and motivated Engineering Technician to join their dynamic on-site engineering team.
As an Engineering Technician, you will provide routine and specialized engineering maintenance, ensure rapid breakdown support, and guarantee the prompt completion of planned, reactive, and specialist sub-contract work orders. You will serve as a technical expert, maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational excellence across the hospital site.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete planned preventative maintenance, reactive responses, and remedial work orders promptly.
Deliver technical, health, safety, and environmental support while acting as an exemplar of company policies.
Provide training, mentoring, and hands-on assistance to site-based technicians and engineering assistants.
Offer professional engineering advice to local hospital managers.
Cultivate a "can-do" culture based on open integrity and high engineering standards.
To thrive in this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Qualifications: Time-served apprenticeship in a mechanical or electrical biased discipline, alongside a City & Guilds Part 3, ONC, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent.
Certifications: Current CSCS card at the appropriate level (or current ECS card if electrically qualified).
Flexibility: Willingness to act as an Authorised Person (AP) and Responsible Person (RP) for Medical Gases (Medgas) as required.
Knowledge Base: Comprehensive understanding of Health & Safety guidelines, statutes, ACOPs, and L8 Legionella ACOP within hospital buildings.
