Housekeeping Assistant – Nights (Bank / Zero Hours)
Location: KIMS Hospital, Maidstone, Kent
Hours: Bank contract (Night shifts covering Monday to Sunday, 22:00 – 06:00)
Hourly Rate: £13.20 per hour + accumulated holiday pay
Are you an experienced cleaner or housekeeper with incredible attention to detail, a love for staying active, and a desire to help keep a state-of-the-art hospital pristine for patients every single day? We are currently recruiting a dedicated Night Housekeeping Assistant to join the team on a flexible bank basis at KIMS Hospital, Kent’s largest independent hospital.

What You Will Do
Provide a high-quality housekeeping service across patient rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas, ensuring excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene are consistently achieved.
Support the wider housekeeping team in delivering exceptional standards of service throughout all departments of the hospital.
Work strictly within infection control guidelines at all times, particularly when operating within clinical areas.
Ensure all cleaning materials and equipment are handled safely and used in accordance with COSHH requirements.

What We Are Looking For
Previous housekeeping or professional cleaning experience within a similar environment.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with a flexible approach to departmental needs.
Good working knowledge of COSHH guidelines and how they apply within a clinical setting.
Valid evidence of the right to work in the UK and a satisfactory DBS check.
