Position: Wellbeing & Activities Coordinator
Location: Tarring Manor, Worthing (BN14 7ND)
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Contract Type: Full-Time, 36 hours per week (Shifts include alternate weekends)
Are you creative, outgoing, and passionate about bringing joy, laughter, and purpose to the lives of older adults? We are seeking a dedicated Wellbeing & Activities Coordinator to join the family at Tarring Manor, a 75-bedded dementia and residential care home in Worthing.
In this rewarding role, you will design, plan, and lead a vibrant calendar of social, physical, and creative activities that enrich our residents' daily lives and foster a true sense of community and belonging.
Develop and deliver a diverse program of activities tailored to the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents.
Organize daily, weekly, and special events, including arts and crafts, music therapy, fitness sessions, social gatherings, and outings.
Foster a warm, inclusive atmosphere that encourages resident participation and engagement.
Work closely with care teams to understand individual resident preferences, life stories, and care needs.
Coordinate with community groups, volunteers, and external entertainers to continuously enhance the activities schedule.
Previous experience in an activities, wellbeing, or community role within a care setting is highly desirable.
A background in recreational therapy, social work, or a related field is a distinct advantage.
Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
