As a Bank Registered Nurse (RGN) at Westvale House Care Home, you will provide vital cover for planned or unplanned absences, looking after the physical, psychological, and social needs of our residents. You will create a safe environment, make critical clinical decisions, develop tailored care plans, and administer medication safely—all with the professional autonomy to do things the right way and make a genuine difference.
Clinical Care: Deliver excellence in nursing care, overseeing the physical, psychological, and social wellbeing of residents with diverse needs.
Care Planning & Safety: Produce well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments while ensuring safe medication management in line with regulatory frameworks (DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines).
Professional Judgement: Apply sound clinical judgment to make critical decisions and provide a safe, supportive environment.
Flexibility: Work casual bank shifts (Days or Nights) on an as-needed basis to cover annual leave or sickness.
Qualifications: Current NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with an active PIN.
Knowledge & Experience: Good knowledge of up-to-date clinical practices, care planning, risk assessments, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
