About the Role
We are partnering with the historic Shockerwick House Care Home near Bath to find a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant on a flexible bank contract. Set in a magnificent 17th-century building surrounded by twelve acres of wheelchair-friendly gardens, Shockerwick House offers nursing, residential, convalescent, palliative, and day care in an exceptional, supportive environment.
As a Housekeeping Assistant through Supportive Bridge, you will play a vital role in creating a warm, clean, and welcoming sanctuary where every detail counts, helping our residents feel right at home.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain exceptionally high standards of cleanliness throughout the home, working closely with fellow housekeeping and maintenance colleagues.
Vacuum, mop floors, polish, and oversee the general upkeep of all communal areas and residents' bedrooms.
Maintain housekeeping stocks for day-to-day use and report any supply or maintenance issues promptly to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
