Rate of Pay: £12.75 - £13.75 per hour (dependent on experience)

About the Role

We are partnering with Pebble Mill Care Home in Edgbaston, Birmingham, to find a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant on a bank contract basis. As a Bank Care Assistant through Supportive Bridge, you will be at the heart of daily life, offering flexible working patterns that fit around your lifestyle while providing exceptional care, companionship, and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Support residents with a wide spectrum of differing requirements, ranging from friendly companionship to comprehensive personal care.

• Observe, manage, document, and report any changes in residents' behaviour and needs in strict accordance with required legislation.

• Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their individual care plans.

• Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and on an individual basis.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date care plans in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.

What We Are Looking For

• A motivated, positive individual with a caring nature and great interpersonal skills.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a close-knit team.

• Desirable: Previous experience working in a care home environment or a relevant Health and Social Care qualification.
