Key Responsibilities

• Activity Design & Delivery: Plan, organise, and lead a varied, stimulating schedule of group and individual activities tailored to residents’ social, physical, and emotional needs.

• Specialised Dementia Engagement: Create inclusive, adaptable programs that promote wellbeing and meaningful connection for residents living with dementia.

• Digital Connection: Support residents in using IT tools (such as video calls and online social platforms) to stay closely connected with family and friends.

• Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with key workers, relatives, volunteers, and local groups while maintaining accurate records of participation and outcomes.

• Safety & Compliance: Manage activity resources responsibly within budget, ensure the safe use of all equipment, and adhere strictly to health, safety, and safeguarding standards.

• Core Skills: Excellent communication and listening abilities, strong organisational skills, and the capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• IT Confidence: Comfort using and teaching basic digital tools to support residents.

• Approach: Flexibility to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a close-knit, supportive care team.

• Proximity: Ideally living within approximately 15 miles of Rotherham for a manageable and balanced commute.
