Theatre Scheduler
Location: KIMS Hospital, Maidstone, Kent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (4 days per week between Monday and Saturday, 08:00 – 18:00)
Salary: £28,560.00 per annum
Are you a patient-focused administrator with a passion for organization and a desire to contribute to world-class healthcare delivery? We are currently recruiting an experienced Theatre Scheduler to join the dynamic Theatres team at KIMS Hospital, Kent’s largest independent hospital.

Manage all theatre booking slots efficiently, coordinating closely with consultants, medical secretaries, NHS contract teams, and hospital departments.
Ensure all booking forms, paperwork, and clinic letters are fully completed and accurately attached.
Liaise with theatre leads, billing, and finance teams regarding procedure costings and provide clear, compassionate non-clinical communication to patients and families (including managing operation scheduling and cancellations).
Maintain a high standard of discretion, dignity, respect, and customer service at all times.

Educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent) with strong organizational, administrative, and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the confidence to work proactively both independently and as part of a team.
Previous administrative experience within a hospital setting or medical secretarial environment is a wonderful bonus.
Valid evidence of the right to work in the UK and a satisfactory DBS check.
