About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Five Rivers Child Care Ltd to recruit an experienced Supervising Social Worker on a 12-month maternity cover contract. Based within our thriving North service, this role focuses on supporting our dedicated community of foster carers across the Hull area.

Working within our Attachment and Trauma-Informed Care (ATIC) model, you will manage a realistic caseload that allows you to provide high levels of supervision, monitoring, and intervention. You will collaborate closely with an integrated team supported by a qualified psychologist and therapeutic practitioner, complete Form F Assessments, and actively contribute to foster carer recruitment events.

Key Responsibilities

• Carer Supervision: Provide rigorous, compassionate support and professional guidance to foster carers across the Hull area.

• Therapeutic Practice: Embed our trauma-informed model into everyday casework, backed by group clinical supervision and multi-disciplinary integration.

• Assessments & Recruitment: Complete Form F Assessments and participate in proactive recruitment events to welcome new carers.

• Out-of-Hours Support: Share in providing out-of-hours support on a rota basis.

Key Requirements

• Qualifications & Registration: A formal Social Work qualification and current, active registration with Social Work England.

• Mobility & Compliance: Access to a car for regular home visits and the Right to Work in the UK.
