About the Role
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to collaborate with Asda to connect dedicated individuals with fantastic healthcare career opportunities. We are recruiting for a fixed-term, part-time Pharmacy Colleague for day shifts in Bolton.
In this vital role, you will be at the heart of our in-store pharmacy team, delivering a warm, friendly, and professional healthcare experience. You will help customers with personal health issues, accurately assemble and process prescriptions, drive awareness of extra pharmacy services (such as prescription collections and health checks), and support the Pharmacist with patient care.
We will fully support your professional growth by enrolling you in an accredited course to qualify as a Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months, followed by training to become a Dispensing Assistant.
Shift Pattern: Day shifts, 24 guaranteed hours per week (weekend working is a required part of the role, with flexibility needed for shift patterns).
Key Responsibilities: Assembling prescriptions, handling counter queries, supporting patient services, adhering to strict Standard Operating Procedures, and completing pharmacy qualifications.
