We are currently recruiting on behalf of Medequip Assistive Technology Ltd—the UK’s leading provider of community equipment services to the NHS and local authorities—as they look for an empathetic and organized Customer Services Advisor to join their team in Dukinfield.
As the Customer Services Advisor, you will be the welcoming first point of contact for service users, their families, and healthcare professionals. You will ensure that vital medical equipment is scheduled, delivered, and installed efficiently, maintaining exceptional customer care standards every step of the way.
This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where your communication skills, patience, and attention to detail will directly help vulnerable and elderly individuals maintain their independence at home.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage inbound and outbound calls, building professional and compassionate relationships with service users, families, and prescribers.
Plan and book all delivery rounds in advance for field Technicians and Service Engineers.
Maintain accurate client and delivery records, updating system notes meticulously.
Swiftly action emergency jobs by coordinating effectively with warehouse and technical teams.
Handle emails, general queries, and complaints within agreed timeframes to an exceptional standard.
Assess and balance technician workloads to ensure daily routes are varied, efficient, and evenly distributed.
Approach difficult situations with empathy, patience, and a calm, positive attitude under pressure.

Experience: Previous experience in a customer service-focused role within a similar healthcare, public, or service-based industry is highly desirable.
Skills: Strong IT proficiency, including a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Personal Qualities: Excellent verbal communication skills, natural empathy, and the ability to remain calm and supportive in sensitive or high-pressure situations.
