Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our trusted justice and healthcare partners for a visionary Therapeutic Community Clinical Lead.
Based within the psychological services team at HMP Dovegate, you will lead and shape a high-performing Therapeutic Community. In this senior clinical leadership role, you will ensure the consistent delivery of accredited, high-quality psychological interventions that reduce reoffending, support lasting change, and foster a safe, values-led environment where both residents and colleagues can grow.
Team Leadership: Lead, line-manage, and mentor a multi-disciplinary clinical team, ensuring safe, ethical, and effective therapeutic delivery.
Accreditation & Governance: Maintain strict adherence to accreditation, quality assurance, and clinical governance standards across the Therapeutic Community.
Clinical Supervision: Provide high-level clinical leadership, professional supervision, and continuous development opportunities for colleagues.
Therapeutic Delivery: Oversee the provision of psychotherapeutic interventions aligned closely with core accredited models.
Collaborative Operations: Work hand-in-hand with custodial and operational colleagues to guarantee integrated, seamless custodial and clinical care.
Representation & Compliance: Represent the Therapeutic Community at regional and national forums to drive best practice, while monitoring compliance with contractual KPIs.
Professional Qualification: A recognised professional qualification and active registration in psychotherapy, clinical psychology, counselling psychology, forensic psychology, or group analysis.
Experience: Significant post-qualification clinical experience gained within forensic or secure mental health environments.
Leadership Background: Proven history of leading, supervising, and supporting clinicians within a dynamic therapeutic setting.
Theoretical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Therapeutic Community models, paired with experience utilising psychodynamic or integrative psychotherapy approaches.
Decision-Making: The confidence to make complex clinical decisions and influence effectively across professional and institutional boundaries.
