About the Role

As a Market Street Baker placed through Supportive Bridge Staffing, you will be the welcoming face of the fresh in-store bakery, responsible for producing high-quality goods and delivering stellar customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Excellence: Prepare a variety of fresh bread, rolls, doughnuts, and fruited products to exact company specifications using professional equipment (provers, ovens, mixers).
Visual Standards: Maintain fresh, attractive, and fully stocked displays throughout the trading day to drive sales and ensure high product availability.
Customer Engagement: Deliver a friendly, helpful service that highlights traditional baking skills and creates memorable moments for shoppers.
Safety & Compliance: Operate specialized bakery equipment safely, maintaining strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Flexible Support: Work flexibly across fresh food counters when needed to support overall store operations.
What We Are Looking For (About You):
Experience: Competent baking skills, including the ability to mix, mould, and handle dough to create professional bakery items.
Customer Focus: A naturally helpful, friendly demeanor with a passion for going above and beyond for customers.
Dynamic Approach: Enjoyment of an active, fast-paced environment where you can use your initiative to resolve queries.
Safety Conscious: Strong commitment to health, safety, and operational standards while using kitchen and bakery equipment.
