Job Opportunity: Customer Team Member (Chelmsford)
Location: Chelmsford (New Street, CM1 1PP)
Pay Rate: £13.04 per hour
Contract: Permanent, Part-Time (12 hours per week + regular overtime)
Working Pattern: A mix of opening, middle, and closing shifts (includes at least 2 closing shifts and 1 weekend shift; availability can be discussed at interview).
Requirements: Must be aged 18 or over (due to early morning/late night shift requirements) and live within a commutable distance from Chelmsford.
Experience: No CV or prior retail experience needed! Full paid training provided.

We have teamed up with Co-op in Chelmsford to help find dedicated Customer Team Members. In this hands-on, fast-paced environment, you’ll be the welcoming face of the store—serving customers, keeping shelves stocked, operating tills, and making everyday shopping a breeze.
Whether you're helping a local customer find what they need or supporting daily store operations, you'll play an essential role in keeping the community connected.
What You’ll Do
Deliver friendly, thoughtful customer service and create a great in-store experience.
Support the day-to-day running of the store across the shop floor and tills.
Help maintain store standards by keeping shelves stocked, checking prices, dates, and stock accuracy.
Promote Co-op Membership and support local community initiatives.
What We Are Looking For
Age: Must be 18 or older.
A genuine passion for helping people and providing great customer service.
Flexibility to work a mix of shifts (including early/late hours, at least 2 closing shifts, and at least 1 weekend shift).
A positive, team-oriented attitude and an enthusiasm for a busy retail environment.
