As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are proud to partner with Tesco to help candidates find rewarding driving and customer-facing careers. Tesco is currently seeking a friendly and dependable Customer Delivery Driver for their Ballymena Superstore.

As the face of Tesco out on the road, you will be delivering right to customers' doorsteps. This role is about much more than just driving—it is about helping others, being a welcoming presence, and delivering fantastic service with a smile. For most of the day, you will feel like your own boss while enjoying the backing of a supportive store team.

Availability & Working Hours

• Contracted Hours: 39 hours per week (with policy options for guaranteed minimum hours or flexible discussions down to 12 hours if preferred).

• Required Availability Window:

  • Monday: 07:00 – 18:00

  • Wednesday: 07:00 – 12:00

  • Thursday: 07:00 – 18:00

  • Friday: 08:00 – 19:00

  • Saturday: 19:00 – 23:00

• Note: You will receive 3 weeks' notice of your exact shift schedules. Applicants must be over 18 years of age due to driving and delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Care: Be warm, welcoming, and helpful, managing order changes/substitutions, answering questions, and ensuring a great customer experience.

• Deliveries & Road Safety: Complete deliveries within designated time slots, conducting vehicle roadworthiness checks and loading your van safely.

• Vehicle & Yard Upkeep: Keep your van and trays clean and organized, and maintain a tidy backyard clear of rubbish and litter.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with store colleagues and managers, sharing ideas to help improve store operations.

What You Will Need

• Driving Licence: A valid UK/EU/EEA Driving Licence (Full or Automatic only) held for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.

• Personal Qualities: Energetic, driven, and warm in all interactions with customers and colleagues.

• Age Requirement: Must be over 18 years old and have passed the school leaver's age.
