About the Role
Are you an NMC-registered Mental Health Nurse looking for a flexible, part-time role offering clinical autonomy and the chance to make a real difference in complex care?
As a Bank Registered Nurse (RMN) at Forest Care Centre, you will use your compassion and experience to deliver exceptional levels of care and support. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will provide care to residents with complex needs and sometimes challenging behaviours. By listening to patients and supervising excellent clinical care, you will help improve their quality of life, ensuring every individual is treated with dignity and respect.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care: Provide and supervise the delivery of outstanding nursing care, ensuring residents' physical, psychological, and social needs are met.
Multidisciplinary Teamwork: Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to support residents with complex and challenging behaviors.
Care Planning & Compliance: Produce well-developed care plans, conduct detailed risk assessments, and maintain compliance with regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
Flexibility: Work varied casual bank shifts (Days or Nights) to provide cover for annual leave and sickness as required.
What My Experience & Qualifications Need to Be
Qualifications: Current NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with an active PIN.
Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of clinical practices, particularly in relation to dementia, along with a strong grasp of regulatory frameworks.
Experience: Proven experience in producing detailed care plans and undertaking comprehensive risk assessments.
Approach: Dedicated, compassionate, and committed to a person-centred, thoughtful approach to nursing.
