About the Role
We are partnering with Aston Court Care Home in Sutton Coldfield to find an experienced and visionary Chef Manager on a flexible bank contract. Aston Court is dedicated to delivering person-centred care, supporting independence, and honouring choice to help residents live their best lives.
As a Chef Manager through Supportive Bridge, you will lead the kitchen with creativity and passion, designing varied, nutritional menus and mentoring a talented team to deliver an exceptional dining experience that makes every resident feel right at home.
Key Responsibilities
Use your passion for cooking and fresh food kitchen experience to create varied and nutritional menus tailored to the dietary needs and preferences of residents.
Apply natural leadership skills to train, mentor, and inspire the kitchen team to deliver a top-tier dining experience.
Maintain an innovative, high-standard approach to cooking and menu development.
Manage all mandatory paperwork, including COSHH and HACCP compliance, company policies, budgets, orders, and deliveries.
Cater for special events and seasonal activities, such as summer fetes, Christmas parties, and resident birthdays.
What We Are Looking For
A strong passion for cooking with previous experience working in a fresh food kitchen and relevant hygiene certificates.
Natural leadership abilities with an innovative approach, an open mind to new ideas, and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
