About the Role

As a Bank Care Assistant at The Moors Care Centre, you will be a vital part of a close-knit, family-like team. You will support our residents to live their lives with comfort, joy, and dignity, stepping in to cover shifts during busy periods, planned leave, or peak times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Kind & Respectful Care: Gently support residents with daily activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, mobility, and enjoying delicious meals, always keeping dignity at the center of your practice.

• Companionship & Connection: Take the time to discover our residents' unique life stories, build trusting relationships, and bring warmth and joy to their daily routines.

• Personalised Care Plans: Help implement and update individualized care plans so that each resident’s personal preferences and wellbeing wishes are fully honored.

• Championing Independence: Encourage residents to maintain their confidence by assisting them to do as much for themselves as safely possible.

• Creating a Safe Haven: Help maintain a clean, secure, and welcoming "home-from-home" environment where residents feel safe, valued, and truly listened to.

What You Will Need to Succeed

We hire for heart and train for skill. While experience in care, social work, or healthcare is always a plus, what we care about most is your attitude.

• Strong Communication: The ability to listen actively and connect warmly with residents, their families, and your colleagues.

• Reliability & Adaptability: Excellent organizational skills and a flexible approach to working various shifts.

• Safety Requirements: A willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (fully funded by the employer).
