About the Role
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Branston to recruit a dedicated, safety-conscious Raw Materials Operative for their night shift team in Ilminster.
In this crucial hands-on role, you will operate a counterbalance forklift to supply one-tonne boxes that feed production lines, while also managing the computerised stock system. We are looking for a motivated, responsible individual who can comfortably handle the physical demands of the role, work independently or as part of a team, and maintain high operational standards within a busy food production environment.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to supply one-tonne boxes to active production lines.
Manage and update the computerised stock control system accurately.
Meet all daily workflow targets while strictly adhering to Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Bring a keen eye for quality standards and a flexible attitude to daily operations.
Work collaboratively across shifts, fostering strong team communication and a culture of reliability.
Skills & Experience Required
Essential: A current, valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
Proven experience working within a busy production or manufacturing environment.
Good communication skills and a strong foundational grasp of numeracy.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role while working responsibly, both independently and as part of a team.
