Senior Care Assistant

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Bupa for a Senior Care Assistant to join the team at Thatcham Court Care Home in Thatcham, UK. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced care professional to take on a leadership role, supporting the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care while mentoring a team of Care Assistants. You will help ensure residents receive compassionate support in a safe and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Care Assistants while overseeing the daily operation of the care unit.

• Assist with clinical duties, including care plan reviews, medication support, and maintaining accurate care records.

• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional care delivery.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards the qualification.

• Previous experience in a Senior Care Assistant or similar care role.

• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills with a passion for delivering person-centred care.
