Location: Cotman House, Felixstowe (IP11 7PU)

Pay Rate: £13.46 per hour

Contract Type: Full-Time, 40 hours per week (12-hour night shifts from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM, including alternate weekends)

About the Role

Are you an experienced care professional looking to step into a leadership role where you can guide a dedicated night team and make a profound difference? We are seeking a compassionate and capable Night Senior Care Assistant to join the family at Cotman House, a 62-bedded nursing, dementia, and residential care home in Felixstowe.

In this role, you will oversee night-time care standards, mentor junior team members, and ensure our residents experience peaceful, secure, and dignified care right through the night.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents during night hours.

• Assist with personal care, mobility, and daily living requirements.

• Administer medications and maintain accurate, up-to-date records.

• Lead, support, and mentor junior care staff on the night shift.

• Help develop and review individualised care plans in collaboration with families and healthcare professionals.

• Cultivate positive, trusting relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant in a residential or nursing home setting.

• Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care (such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).

• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

• A proactive, independent worker with a genuine passion for elderly and dementia care.
