About the Role
Are you passionate about building technology that makes a real impact on millions of customers? Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is partnering with Tesco to recruit a talented Software Engineering Intern for their vibrant green campus in Welwyn Garden City.
In this hands-on internship, you will work alongside leading Software Engineers to automate processes, safeguard data, and craft large-scale systems using agile methodologies. You'll build and run new backend and frontend features, testing and learning every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities
Feature Development: Build and run new frontend and backend software features while continuously testing and learning.
Systems & Scale: Work at scale on large systems while keeping a sharp eye on small details, automation, and data security.
Agile Collaboration: Collaborate within agile teams to design solutions and improve existing systems.
What We Are Looking For
Coding Experience & Curiosity: Some prior coding experience (from work, personal projects, or self-teaching) and an authentic passion for solving technical problems. (A Computer Science degree is not required!)
Growth Mindset: An interest in how things work, a willingness to test ideas, and an openness to learning and building technical skills.
