Support Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with leading growth and corporate operations teams to connect talented professionals with strategic bid and solution roles. We are currently recruiting a creative and analytical Solution Manager to join a dynamic bids team.
In this exciting role, you will be involved in shaping innovative, customer-focused solutions across a diverse portfolio of government bids and major contract opportunities. You’ll design end-to-end solutions—combining user experience, people, processes, technology, assets, and supply chain partnerships—turning complex requirements into compelling, operationally sound, and commercially viable propositions.
What You’ll Do
Solution Design: Support the design and development of end-to-end solutions or specific solution components for major public sector bids.
Collaboration & Integration: Work closely with Bid Directors, Solution Leads, Commercial Leads, subject matter experts, and finance teams to create costed, deliverable solutions.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, contribute to mitigation planning, and maintain comprehensive risk registers.
Bid Writing & Engagement: Collaborate with bid writers to craft compelling written bid responses and engage proactively with customers to refine solution approaches.
Continuous Improvement: Support internal benchmarking, service reviews, synergies identification, and operational handover to transition teams for successful implementation.
What We Are Looking For
Core Competencies: Strong presentation, negotiation, and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear messages.
Analytical Ability: Capable of understanding large volumes of information and data quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Operational Insight: Relevant operational background, such as people management or data-informed decision-making.
Commercial Judgement: Sound commercial understanding and a strong grasp of the UK Government market landscape.
Personal Style: A collaborative team player who thinks big picture while delivering reality, balances customer wants with commercial realism, and demonstrates resilience.
