Activities Lead - Care Home

Role Description

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is seeking an energetic and organized Activities Lead on behalf of our client for Wimborne Care Home on Hayling Island. In this key role, you will design, coordinate, and deliver vibrant activity programmes tailored to the interests and abilities of residents, while managing the home's social media presence and building strong community links.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and run imaginative, motivational, and person-centred activity plans that enhance resident wellbeing, independence, and social engagement.

• Manage the care home's social media channels and collaborate with the community engagement team to build local connections and showcase events.

• Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families to tailor activities to personal life histories, hobbies, and preferences.

Requirements

• Computer literacy with proficiency in updating social media platforms and digital media.

• Warm, empathetic, and enthusiastic approach with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Prior experience in activity coordination or care is preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided.
