Deputy Nursery Manager
About this role
As the Deputy Nursery Manager, you will support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery and step in to lead the facility in their absence. You will ensure full compliance with EYFS guidelines, safeguarding protocols, and childcare legislation while maintaining strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Deputise for the Nursery Manager, assisting in daily operational management, planning activities, and staff leadership.
Drive high standards of childcare and early education in line with EYFS framework and safeguarding policies.
Maintain effective communication with parents, carers, and staff to support children's overall health, growth, and development.
Requirements
Recognized Early Years qualification (NNEB, NVQ Level 3, BTEC, BA Hons, or equivalent).
Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within an Ofsted-registered early years setting.
Thorough knowledge of EYFS guidelines, safeguarding procedures, and relevant childcare legislation.
