About the Role
Are you passionate about coding and eager to build technology that impacts millions of customers? Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is partnering with Tesco to recruit a talented Software Engineering Intern for their vibrant campus in Welwyn Garden City.
In this exciting temporary internship, you will learn to automate processes, safeguard data, and craft large-scale systems using agile methods alongside industry-leading software engineers. You’ll get hands-on experience building and running new features across both backend and frontend projects, balancing large-scale vision with meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
Feature Development: Build and run new features while constantly testing, learning, and iterating.
Full-Stack Projects: Work across backend and frontend software projects, delivering at scale while keeping an eye on the finer details.
Agile Engineering: Learn and apply agile methodologies to safeguard data, automate tasks, and craft robust systems.
What We Are Looking For
Potential & Curiosity: A strong interest in how things work, building solutions, and improving existing systems.
Coding Experience: While a Computer Science degree isn't required, you will need some coding experience—whether from work, personal projects, or self-teaching.
Problem-Solving Mindset: A passion for solving problems, testing ideas, collaborating with others, and embracing a willingness to learn.
