In this full-time senior management role based in Colchester, UK, you will provide visible clinical leadership, manage day-to-day department operations, and actively participate in clinical imaging procedures. Serving as Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS), you will enforce compliance with IR(ME)R and IRR standards, manage budgets and staffing, drive quality audits, and lead strategic service development initiatives in Colchester, UK.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day operations of the Radiology Department, managing workforce rotas, budgets, equipment quality assurance, and clinical workflows in Colchester, UK.
Act as Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS), ensuring strict compliance with IR(ME)R, IRR, MRI safety, and regulatory standards in Colchester, UK.
Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while mentoring staff, leading quality audits, and supporting business development plans in Colchester, UK.
Requirements
BSc degree in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent) with active HCPC registration in Colchester, UK.
Formal leadership qualification with extensive evidence of ongoing CPD and management experience in diagnostic imaging in Colchester, UK.
Deep knowledge of radiation safety legislation (IR(ME)R/IRR), risk management, and clinical governance in Colchester, UK.
