As a Bank Senior Care Assistant at Lancaster Grange Care Home, you will provide crucial cover—such as for annual leave or sick leave—while enabling us to deliver exceptional, person-centred care. Your role will involve supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager. You will also support the clinical team in specialised areas such as medication administration, assessments, care plans, and care reviews. Above all, you will champion resident dignity, choice, and a warm, vibrant home environment.
Team Leadership: Supervise, inspire, and support a dedicated team of Care Assistants.
Clinical Support: Assist the clinical team with medication, care assessments, care plans, and care reviews.
Person-Centred Care: Cater to the individual needs of residents while respecting their privacy, dignity, and independence.
Environment: Help foster a warm, welcoming, and vibrant atmosphere for residents, families, and staff.
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
Experience: Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
Personality: Warm-hearted, compassionate, and deeply committed to individualised care.
Skills: Strong motivational, communication, and people skills.
