As a Housekeeping Assistant through Supportive Bridge, you will act as an unsung hero of our community, keeping our facilities sparkling and our residents beaming with pride through a flair for perfection and a sprinkle of care.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure residents' care home facilities, public areas, and individual properties are maintained to the highest cleaning standards.
Operate cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, and carpet shampooers.
Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors, empty bins regularly, and clean carpets, upholstery, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, and ironing residents' clothing, bedding, and communal laundry for on-site care home residents.
Report safety hazards promptly, ensuring strict compliance with Health and Safety standards and COSHH guidelines at all times.
What We Are Looking For
Previous experience from a housekeeping or domestic cleaning role, coupled with a basic understanding of infection control, COSHH, and compliance standards.
A friendly, approachable demeanor with a talent for forging enduring professional relationships with colleagues, residents, and their families.
Meticulous attention to detail, a strong sense of pride in your work, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team across various functions and services.
