Salary: £25,987.00 per annum (pro-rata for part-time)

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with MHA to recruit an enthusiastic and community-focused Community Co-ordinator for MHA Communities South Somerset.
In this rewarding part-time role, you will coordinate and run a vibrant programme of social activities, including local social groups and lunch clubs, designed to reduce isolation and promote wellbeing among older adults across the district. If you are passionate about community outreach and making a positive local impact, this is an exceptional opportunity.
Activity Co-ordination: Plan, organise, and run a diverse programme of community groups, social outings, and lunch clubs tailored to local needs (including established social groups and lunch clubs in the area).
Service Development: Develop new activities based on community feedback, partnering with external providers (such as local colleges for classes or local professionals for exercise sessions).
Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong, collaborative relationships with participants, volunteers, and internal/external stakeholders.
Administration & Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records and handle administrative duties using digital packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Passion for Community: A genuine enthusiasm for supporting older people and increasing social inclusion in the local area.
Mobility & Accessibility: Due to travel requirements across the South Somerset district, access to a car is required.
Digital Literacy: Strong organisational skills and competency with digital tools (Microsoft Word and Excel).
Specialist Skills (Desirable): Any background knowledge in benefits support, care, adult education, nutrition, fitness, or music is warmly welcomed!
