About the Role
As a Second Chef representing Barchester Healthcare through Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, you will have the chance to deliver hotel and restaurant standards without the exhausting split shifts and long weekly hours. You will assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavorful, and well-balanced menus using fresh, seasonal ingredients, while working closely with residents to tailor meals around their preferences. About You
We are looking for a warm, motivated, and passionate qualified chef driven by quality who wants to make a meaningful difference.
Qualifications: Hold City & Guilds / NVQ / SVQ or equivalent, alongside a good understanding of nutrition and HACCP principles.
Experience: Proven experience working with fresh, seasonal food and confidence in engaging with residents to shape menus.
Attributes: A personable approach, ability to manage the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, and a commitment to maintaining the highest culinary standards.
