Position Details
Location: Dudwell St Mary Care Home, Etchingham Road, Burwash, East Sussex, TN19 7BE
Pay Rate: £13.29 per hour + £500 Golden Hello Bonus
Hours: 36.00 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Shift: Mixed (Days/Nights)
About the Role
As a Care Assistant, you will help residents enjoy each day by ensuring they receive the high-quality care and support they deserve. Every day is wonderfully varied—from assisting with daily living and food/drink to providing meaningful companionship and sharing special moments and memories.
Key Responsibilities:
Support residents with daily living needs while following personalized care plans.
Deliver dedicated one-to-one time and emotional support to ensure residents feel valued.
Foster a warm, safe, and happy environment across a variety of daily tasks.
About You
To join us in this permanent role, you will bring:
Experience: Some prior background in caring for older people.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, can-do approach.
Personality: Genuine empathy, a warm-hearted nature, and deep compassion for resident wellbeing. (Full training is provided to help you thrive and grow!)
