As a permanent Trainee Care Practitioner at Wadhurst Manor Care Home, you will undertake advanced responsibilities to help us deliver the highest standards of care and support. Representing the pinnacle of our Care Assistant career path, you will undergo comprehensive training to lead, motivate, and inspire a team of carers.
Under the guidance of our on-site Registered Nurses, you will take on confident responsibilities in resident medication, wound management, continence care, physiological assessments, and care planning. This is an exceptionally rewarding role that offers immense scope for professional growth and leadership development.
Undertake senior care responsibilities and support a nursing team with medication, clinical assessments, and care planning.
Lead, motivate, and inspire a dedicated team of care assistants on shift.
Confidently support specialized clinical tasks such as wound management, continence care, and physiological monitoring.
Attend regular on-site and off-site training sessions to gain full confidence in advanced care skills.
Work collaboratively on a permanent full-time contract (44 hours per week).
Experience: At least 2 years of experience working within a care setting.
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), alongside GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above (or equivalent).
