Kitchen Assistant

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Bupa for a Kitchen Assistant to join their care home team in Colchester, UK. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a kitchen environment and is passionate about providing a positive dining experience for residents. You will support the kitchen team in delivering nutritious meals while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

• Assist chefs with meal preparation, food service, and maintaining clean kitchen and preparation areas.

• Ensure stock is rotated correctly and food hygiene procedures are followed in line with company standards.

• Support catering for special events and activities within the care home.

Requirements

• Previous kitchen experience and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.

• Passion for food preparation and delivering excellent customer service.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
