Hours: Bank / Casual (Flexible working)

You will assist the Head Chef in crafting nutritious, flavoursome, and well-balanced menus, tailoring dishes directly around the residents to deliver high hotel and restaurant standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing wholesome dishes using fresh, seasonal produce to the highest culinary standards.
Helping manage the kitchen efficiently in the Head Chef’s absence.
Collaborating with residents to tailor menus around their preferences and nutritional needs.
Managing stock control, working within budgets, and completing regular audits.
Assisting in leading, inspiring, and motivating the kitchen team.

A personable, warm approach with a genuine interest in resident wellbeing.
City & Guilds, NVQ/SVQ, or equivalent culinary qualifications.
Demonstrated experience working with fresh, seasonal food and a good understanding of nutrition.
A solid understanding of HACCP and food safety regulations.
Experience in helping lead and inspire a kitchen team.
