As a Registered Nurse (Night Shift), you will take full responsibility for shift leadership, clinical governance, and resident well-being during night hours. Working collaboratively with external multidisciplinary teams and night care staff, you will oversee complex clinical needs and uphold strict safeguarding and infection control standards.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as Nurse in Charge during night shifts, managing medication administration via PCS, care planning, and shift management.
Perform complex clinical duties including syringe driver management, catheterization, blood sampling, peg feeding, and stoma care.
Support residents living with dementia and complex needs while upholding Mental Capacity Act guidelines and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).
Requirements
Nursing qualification recognized by the UK NMC with a valid UK NMC PIN (RGN, RMN, or RNLD).
Strong clinical decision-making capabilities, experience with Care Planning systems (PCS preferred), and physical ability to support resident mobility.
Valid right to work in the UK and ability to commute reliably to Cramlington, UK.
