Working as a permanent Senior Care Assistant through our supportive bridge staffing agency on behalf of Barchester Healthcare, you will look after the diverse needs of residents to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. In this role, you will supervise and inspire a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager, while providing crucial support to the clinical team in areas such as medication administration, assessments, care plans, and care reviews.
Supervise, guide, and motivate a team of Care Assistants during day shifts.
Support the clinical team with medication management, care assessments, plans, and reviews.
Attend to the varied needs of residents while consistently respecting their dignity and personal preferences.
Help maintain a warm, safe, welcoming, and vibrant living environment.
NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
Specific, practical knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
A warm-hearted, compassionate disposition with a genuine commitment to individualised care.
Strong leadership, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
Note: Excellent career progression pathways are available, with many Senior Care Assistants advancing into Care Practitioner, Regional Carer, or nursing roles.
