Local Live-In / Day Support Care Assistant

Location: Worthing, West Sussex (Local support with occasional live-in cover)

Schedule: Rotational 7 days on / 7 days off (8-hour day shifts from 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM, including weekends)

Pay Rate: £17.47 per hour — equivalent to a guaranteed £140 per day (£22 per hour on Bank Holidays)

We are currently recruiting dedicated Support Workers to assist a lovely lady with complex care needs to live independently and comfortably in her local community. (Note: This role primarily operates on local day shifts, with occasional live-in cover required only during routine hospital procedures lasting a week or two.)

What You Will Do

• Provide attentive, person-centred daily support, assisting with morning routines, personal care, and daily living activities.

• Offer wonderful companionship, emotional support, and encouragement to help our client maintain her independence and quality of life.

• Work a reliable 7-days-on / 7-days-off rotational pattern (8-hour shifts), with occasional longer hours for trips out or temporary live-in cover during hospital stays.
