Role Description

As a Graduate Systems Engineer, you will be deployed into core technical functions including Systems Engineering, Mission Systems, Flight Systems, Electromagnetics, and Test & Evaluation.

Working on advanced products such as the Typhoon, Future Combat Air System (FCAS), Autonomous Systems, and Mission Support Products, you will provide critical capabilities to national and international customers. Alongside technical engineering, you will master the importance of schedule, cost, stakeholder management, and through-life support while keeping safety and environmental concerns front and center. Note: These roles may occasionally involve UK and international business travel.

Eligibility & Security Requirements

Due to the nature of the defense sector, applicants are subject to strict security and export control restrictions:

Nationality & Birthplace: Factors such as your nationality, previously held nationalities, and place of birth may restrict eligibility.
Security Clearance: All applicants must achieve, as a minimum, the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting, typically requiring 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK.

Qualification Requirements

To be eligible for this graduate position, you must have obtained—or be predicted to obtain—a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in one of the following subjects:
