About the Role
As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are thrilled to partner with Morrisons to recruit a friendly and focused Customer Assistant for their Scanning team in Todmorden. In this tech-enabled retail role, you will use in-store technology to carry out stock counts and gap scans—playing a vital part in keeping shelves fully stocked, systems accurate, and ensuring customers can always find what they need.
Key Responsibilities
Stock Control & Scanning: Use in-store technology to perform detailed stock counts and gap scans.
System Accuracy: Keep inventory systems up to date to ensure shelves remain stocked and seamless for shoppers.
Cross-Department Support: Receive training to support other store teams, such as Market Street or Replenishment, helping wherever needed most.
Process Adherence: Handle equipment safely and follow store operational processes precisely.

Age Requirement: Must be over the school leaver’s age (and over 18 for specific equipment or health and safety compliance where applicable).
Personality: A helpful, friendly, and team-oriented approach with a strong focus on putting customers first.
Work Style: Enjoys staying active, hands-on work, and operating effectively in a busy, structured environment.
Availability: Comfortable working flexible shifts within the 06:00 to 22:00 window.
