Endoscopy Nurse

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Endoscopy Nurse to join a leading private hospital in Bournemouth, UK. In this flexible bank position, you will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.

Working alongside Dorset's top consultant gastroenterologists and surgeons within a modern clinical environment, you will manage patient care throughout admission, procedure support, and recovery. This position is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse seeking flexible ad-hoc shifts within a high-standard healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to endoscopy patients across pre-procedure preparation, intra-procedure assistance, and post-procedure recovery.

• Collaborate effectively with consultant endoscopists, unit leads, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth patient pathways and safety.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation while adhering to strict infection control, decontamination, and governance standards.

Requirements

• Active professional registration with the NMC as a Registered General Nurse (RGN).

• Proven post-registration clinical experience, preferably within an endoscopy unit or day surgery setting.

• Excellent interpersonal, team-working, and communication skills with a clear patient-focused approach.
