Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Provide confident, visible leadership, setting the culture and direction of the home while ensuring a safe, inclusive environment for residents, relatives, and colleagues.
Team Development: Lead, motivate, and develop senior and wider teams, overseeing recruitment, supervision, appraisals, and performance management.
Care Quality & Compliance: Ensure residents receive exceptional, person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, and choice, while meeting all regulatory, statutory, and data protection standards.
Financial & Operational Management: Oversee the home's financial performance, budget control, medication management, health & safety, and infection prevention to guarantee sustainability.
What You Will Bring
Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience as a Home Manager or in a senior management role within a care setting.
Qualifications: A Level 4 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or equivalent), or a willingness to work towards this.
Core Competencies: Proven expertise in financial budgeting, staff resource management, coaching, and building positive relationships with regulators, families, and external partners.
Proximity: Ideally living within approximately 15 miles of Bognor Regis for a manageable and balanced commute.
