Role Overview & Highlights
Job Title: Housekeeping Assistant
Location: Colonia Court Care Home, St Andrew's Avenue, Colchester, CO4 3AN
Pay Rate: £12.75 per hour
Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time (20 hours per week, covering Saturday and Sunday)
As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the home remains pristine, safe, and comfortable. By maintaining high standards of cleanliness, you help residents feel right at home in a supportive, community-focused setting.
Key Responsibilities
Cleanliness & Upkeep: Maintain exceptional standards of hygiene by vacuuming, mopping floors, polishing, and managing general upkeep across all communal areas and resident bedrooms.
Stock Management: Monitor and maintain housekeeping stocks for daily use, promptly raising any issues or shortages to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Resident Comfort: Multitask effectively and work closely with maintenance and care teams to ensure residents are kept happy and undisturbed in their living spaces.
Key Skills & Qualifications Needed

Organizational Skills: Comfortable balancing multiple requests at once and maintaining an organized, tidy environment.
