Care Assistant / Carer (Permanent) — Melksham, Wiltshire
Position: Permanent Care Assistant / Carer
Location: Brookside Care Home, Ruskin Avenue, Melksham, SN12 7NG
Pay Rate: £13.67 per hour (Mon–Fri) / £14.07 per hour (Weekends)
Contract Type: Permanent / 36 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (3 shifts per week, including working every other weekend)
About the Role
As a Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are proud to partner with this leading not-for-profit provider to find a dedicated permanent Care Assistant for Brookside Care Home in Melksham.
An established part of the local Wiltshire community for over 40 years, Brookside offers compassionate, individualised residential care for up to 50 residents. Whether you are an experienced care professional or completely new to the sector, you will make a genuine, daily impact by supporting personal care, assisting with daily routines, and sharing laughs and meaningful companionship.
Key Responsibilities
Provide respectful, person-centred personal care (including washing, bathing, and toileting support).
Build meaningful, lasting relationships with residents to support their daily wellbeing and independence.
Bring kindness, exceptional care, and dignity to the home environment.
Communicate effectively as part of a collaborative, supportive team.
