In this vital part-time role located in Birmingham, UK, you will ensure the safety and wellbeing of all members and guests using the wet side facilities, including the main pool, spa, sauna, and steam room. Working in Birmingham, UK, you will maintain a highly attentive presence on poolside, enforce safety guidelines, respond swiftly to any potential incidents, and contribute to a welcoming, friendly atmosphere across the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Actively supervise the swimming pool and wet side areas to ensure the ongoing safety and wellbeing of all members and visitors at our Birmingham, UK facility.
Strictly enforce Pool Safety Guidelines and maintain constant vigilance to respond immediately to emergencies or incidents in Birmingham, UK.
Interact professionally with members, providing assistance and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment across all wet side amenities in Birmingham, UK.
Requirements
Active National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or recognized equivalent for candidates in Birmingham, UK.
Up-to-date ongoing lifeguard training and competence records available in Birmingham, UK.
Excellent observational skills, strong communication ability, and a customer-oriented attitude for our Birmingham, UK team.
