Salary: £41,514 per annum
Hours: Permanent, Full-time
Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire (HP18 1BB)

At Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we believe that premium care is delivered not just through medical support, but through the warmth, luxury, and comfort of a high-quality living environment. We are thrilled to partner with Maria Mallaband Care Group, one of the UK’s largest and most prestigious independent care providers, to recruit an experienced Hospitality Services Manager for the exquisite Chartwell Manor Care Home in Aylesbury.
Maria Mallaband’s vision is to be the best quality, most highly regarded Care Provider in the United Kingdom. As the Hospitality Services Manager, you will bring your industry expertise to elevate hotel services—including dining, housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance—to a true five-star standard. If you are a hospitality professional looking to apply your premium guest-service and leadership skills to a rewarding, purpose-driven sector, this is your next career step.
Reporting directly to the Registered Manager, the Hospitality Services Manager is a vital leadership position. You will oversee all aspects of hotel services within the home, bridging the gap between care and hospitality to ensure a seamless, high-end experience for residents and visitors.
Rather than focusing on medical care, your role is to run the facility with the precision, warmth, and standards of a luxury boutique hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
Five-Star Dining Experience: Partner closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure restaurants are beautifully presented and that food service is executed to a flawless, premium standard.
Environmental Excellence: Uphold and monitor clean, hygienic, and premium aesthetic standards throughout the home by coordinating and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance teams.
Team Leadership & Motivation: Provide inspiring, positive leadership to all hospitality and ancillary staff, fostering a collaborative, supportive, and highly motivated working environment.
Resident Relations: Build warm, genuine relationships with residents and their families, proactively gathering feedback to continuously elevate their day-to-day experience.
Financial Management: Manage budgets, control operational costs, and identify or deliver revenue-generating opportunities for the home.
Strategic Communication: Support the Registered Manager in achieving service excellence, hosting regular briefings, and aligning goals with the Senior Operations team.
We are looking for an exceptional leader who understands how to blend premium hospitality standards with a caring, compassionate heart. Please note: prior healthcare experience is not required.
Qualifications:
A degree or diploma in Hotel Management (or an equivalent relevant qualification).
Experience & Skills:
Proven experience as a Hospitality Services Manager or in a similar leadership capacity within the wider hospitality sector (e.g., hotels, high-end resorts, or luxury hospitality venues).
Demonstrated experience managing budgets, proposals, and forecasting financial results.
Natural leadership capability with the ability to inspire, develop, and coordinate diverse teams.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with an innate ability to make residents feel valued, respected, and at home.
Maria Mallaband Care Group deeply values its leaders, offering a highly competitive salary alongside a premium corporate benefits package:
Healthcare Protection: Simply Health company-funded scheme (providing cashback for dental, optical, and prescription costs, plus 24/7 virtual GP access for you and up to four children).*
Instant Pay Access: Retrieve earned wages before payday through the Early Pay platform.
Retail & Leisure Perks: Premium discounts across major high-street retailers, leisure outlets, and hospitality providers.
Dining Discounts: A free, exclusive Tastecard membership offering up to 50% off your total food bill at thousands of restaurants.
Financial Security: Nest Pension Scheme, cycle to work scheme, and free criminal record checks (DBS).
Career Development: Robust ongoing training, corporate support, and clear progressive career pathways within a nationwide luxury care group.
Wellbeing Support: Fully funded Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), mental health support, and discounted gym memberships.
*Simply Health benefits require successful completion of a 12-week probationary period.
**Cycle to work scheme is subject to deductions not taking your salary below the National Living Wage.
